Our story at Axholme Produce
Discover the journey behind Axholme Produce, from our farming roots to our passion for delivering the freshest British produce to your table.

From our roots to your table
Axholme Produce began with a simple belief: good food starts with the people who grow it. Growing up with generations of farming roots in the Isle of Axholme, we developed a deep respect for the land, the seasons, and the hard work involved in producing quality food. Farming has always been part of who we are. We noticed a growing disconnect between people and their food's origins and wanted to bridge that gap by supplying fresh, seasonal produce, sourced directly from local farmers wherever possible.

Our commitment to quality and freshness
As our business evolved, our passion led us back to our own roots. Today, we grow premium microgreens and microherbs at Crosshill Farm, harvesting them to order. We supply wholesalers, retailers, and customers with produce picked at its freshest. We believe freshness isn't just important—it's everything. Unlike produce that may travel long distances, our commitment ensures you receive food at its very best, whether it's our own microgreens or produce sourced from local growers.

Values that guide our growth
Our business is built on core values that ensure every product we offer meets the highest standards. We prioritise quality without compromise, aiming to supply produce that stands out for its taste, appearance, and longevity. Supporting British farming is paramount; wherever possible, we source from British farmers and growers, recognising the hard work involved. Honesty and trust form the foundation of our relationships with customers and suppliers, fostering reliability and open communication. We also pride ourselves on personal service; when you contact Axholme Produce, you speak directly to those who grow, source, and supply your food.
"The microgreens from Axholme Produce are consistently the freshest and most flavourful I've ever used. Their dedication to quality is evident in every order."
